Hidden Talent	Singing. I get too nervous around anyone else but my children. Their opinion of my vocal prowess might, however, be a little biased.
Secret desire -	To be able to make my own work hours at something I love, while having time to nourish my children without the guilt of many working moms.
Best advice I've ever received -	A negative opinion of you is only one person’s opinion, usually a person with many more faults than yours, two of which you know are judging other people and giving unwanted advice.
I love court reporting because...	It is so exact. There is no room for interpretation and you can tell anyone who wants you to change what was spoken to shove it.

In 5 years I will be...	A CART Reporter preferably. Maybe still freelancing as a stenographer. Maybe in the court system, but only with flexible hours.
How I discovered court reporting -	My ex-husband encouraged me to develop a career, rather than just having a job as a Legal Secretary. I am a fast typist and started looking into court reporting. Court Reporting stuck; the ex did not (haha).

Anything you want to add about yourself -	Miracles do happen. I came from a horrible childhood; to break the cycle I chose to want more and believe in myself, no matter what others said or did. No excuses.
