I don’t know.  Certainly something as an entrepreneur. 

Hidden talent -

I can do the hokey pokey like nobody’s business. (Laynie makes me practice a lot.)

Greatest non-court reporting achievement -

Being married and having a child.  Ten years ago I would told you you were crazy.  I did not ever want to.  Then I met Jasen…. 

Secret desire -

To own my own high-end shoe store.  I love shoes.

Best advice I’ve ever received -

Anything in life worth having is worth working for.
Also:  You don’t get a diamond without a lot of friction and time. 

I love court reporting because -

It’s black and white.  There is no interpretation.  If I screw up, I screw up.  If I do well, I succeed.  There is no gray.  I came into court reporting from a journalism/public relations background.  Way too much room for interpretation.  Way too many conversations about getting on the same page.   

When I have 2 spare hours, I -

Watch television and read.

Favorite singer, musician or group

I have eclectic tastes.  I like everyone from Mozart to George Strait to Jimi Hendrix to Her Space Holiday to Beyonce. 

In 5 years, I will be -

starting my own business.

It was word of mouth.
